Ten Yard Fight RAP AROUND, 1995
Spending my day searching youtube for 90s hardcore videos has yielded some hilarious results. Take this clip from a local Boston teevee show called “RAP AROUND.” It appears to be some kind of youth-oriented talk show dreamed up by the creators of Saved by the Bell. On this episode is Ten Yard Fight, where they discuss hardcore, going to shows and all things straight-edge.
And if anyone needs more of a reason to watch, the intro flashes the following across the screen: ”They don’t drink. They don’t do drugs. They don’t fool around. But they play loud and live on the edge…” GO!!!
There’s a part 2 and a part 3 as well, which are equally hilarious, and feature a debate between the band and a former “straight-edger,” as well as a live performance of Offsides.
