I have a fair amount of sympathy for the people in these kinds of interviews. Most people are nervous on camera and aren’t prepared to answer questions. That kind of situation makes it hard for some people to form a cogent and coherent argument. What I don’t have sympathy for is the obvious point of their ramblings. That is, “We don’t like that Obama is the President, so the country must be divided, therefore Obama is the reason it’s divided.” Funny thing is, I’ve never heard a group of people use “they” and “them” more than the people in this video. Not the pronouns you want to use if you’re complaining about people being divided. 

It also doesn’t help that 100% of the people in this video, and 99% of the people I’ve seen in other photos and videos from this thing are old, white people. I think I see now where the dividing line is.  

And I don’t know how Chase Whiteside gets through his interviews without cracking up. He’s must be some kind of Zen master.
